The topic:
Design new packaging for car bulb basing on the previous version and simplify packing process.
Previous packaging was a combination of four blisters and cardboard box.
The packing process was complicated.
It required multiple parts to be ordered and available at the same time.
I proposed clamshell type blister to eliminate three parts of the previous packaging keeping front shape.
Now packing process a car bulb in a blister is one step way.
Blister also matchs in the previous cardboard box.
Benefits :
- simplification of the process
- reduction of the cost of packaging
- reduce amount of plastic
- no advertising campaign needed for new packaging
